Fruit of the Forgotten
The orchard's trees bear heavy, glossy fruit that ripen into the anguished faces of those long missing. When a creature is within 10 feet of a fruit, the visage whispers its last memory, imposing disadvantage on Wisdom checks and dealing 1d6 psychic damage at the start of the creature’s turn.
Outward Doors
Every doorway in the orchard opens outward, as if forced by an unseen wind. Any creature that ends its turn adjacent to a door must succeed on a DC 15 Strength save or be pushed 10 feet outward, potentially into hazardous terrain or off a ledge.
Grim Harvest
+8 to hit, 2d8+5 necrotic damage. On a hit, the target must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution save or be stunned until the end of its next turn as the fruit's sorrow drains its vitality.
Spreading Thorn
+7 to hit, 2d6+4 piercing damage. The attack creates a vine of thorns that extends 15 feet; each creature other than the target that enters the vine's space must make a DC 14 Dexterity save or take 1d4 piercing damage.
Tactics
The Harvestwarden uses the orchard’s layout to its advantage, luring foes toward the fruit to sap their resolve while flanking with the outward‑opening doors. It opens with Grim Harvest to incapacitate a key opponent, then retreats to higher ground, using Spreading Thorn to control the battlefield and force enemies into the fruit’s maddening presence.
