Shadow Form
The herd is a swirling cloud of shadowed silhouettes that phase through walls as if made of vapor. Each member can meld with darkness, gaining advantage on Stealth checks in dim light.
Light Grazer
When an occupied room has light, each member drains 1d6 radiant damage from the source, and the room's lights flicker.
Shadow Bite
+7 to hit, 2d8+4 necrotic damage.
Illumination Pulse
+5 to hit, 1d10 radiant damage, and any creature within 10 ft. must succeed a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or be blinded until the end of its next turn.
Tactics
The herd moves as a single unit, concentrating on the brightest source. It will circle occupied rooms, feeding on their light, and will only emerge when a party measures them, provoking a sudden swarm that can blind and drain health. It avoids direct combat, preferring to siphon light and then retreat.
